Paintings and Unique Golf Ball Photographs

bio pictureLife beside the Atlantic Ocean has provided me with a visual paradise full of strong colours and rich textures.  Creating Art is a magical process.  The tides and the seasons and even what I have found on the beach have all contributed to and influenced my art.

I work in a variety of mediums and like to explore new ways of seeing things.  Currently I am working on some curling stone photos.  In the past I have taught art in the public schools and have given workshops to adults as well as being an art instructor on a cruise ship.

On one of my walks along the beach I collected almost a dozen golf balls that had washed in with the tide.  On the way home I wondered what I could do with them to give them another life.  It wasn't until I put them beside my camera which was on top of some material remnants that the idea of dressing up the golf balls began.  Since then these golf ball dolls which I call my Golf Ball Beauties have taken on a life of their own.

Enjoy the galleries.  If you see something you like and wish to purchase either prints or originals, or if you would like to make a comment please e-mail me.  Lately some e-mails have not been finding their way to me, so if I haven't replied, please send another.
